Michelle's journey in the excavating business began at a young age. Growing up, she assisted her mother in the office, gradually gaining experience in running a successful company with her family. Alongside her excavating background, Michelle pursued a bachelor’s degree in administration which led her to working part-time in radiology and mammography while working with her parents Although these fields may seem vastly different, Michelle cherished the relationships she built and the achievements she accomplished. Additionally, Michelle married a amazing spouse and raised 3 great children.
Life took an unexpected turn when Michelle's mother, after a courageous battle, succumbed to breast cancer. This event compelled Michelle to leave her job in the hospital and fully dedicate herself to the family business. There, she revitalized internal operations and dedicated herself to the business.
Coincidentally, as stormwater regulations grew more stringent, Michelle found herself writing SWPPP plans, conducting inspections, and providing employee training on SWPPP. Developers, contractors, and subcontractors sought her growing knowledge on SWPPP, which sparked an idea. Michelle decided to establish her own stormwater management company.
Equipped with certifications as a Registered StormWater Inspector (RSI) and a writer/reviewer of SWPPP plans, Michelle embarked on her entrepreneurial venture and has continued her education in all things stormwater. She approaches her work with a deep-rooted passion cultivated over many years. Michelle's commitment is unwavering—to deliver high-quality results, treat people with respect and honesty, and earn the admiration of those she collaborates with.
