Michelle's journey in excavation began while she was young in the family business. She started by helping her mother in the office and continued to gain valuable experiences as she grew up. In addition to her excavating background, Michelle pursued a bachelor's degree in business administration, which opened doors for her to work part-time in radiology and mammography while working alongside her parents. Despite the differences between these fields, Michelle treasured the relationships she built and the accomplishments she achieved. She also found happiness in marrying an incredible spouse and raising three amazing children.
However, when Michelle's mother tragically lost her battle with breast cancer, life took a turn. This event compelled Michelle to leave her job in the hospital and fully commit herself to the family business. There she helped revitalize internal operations and dedicated her efforts to the company's success.
Coincidentally, as stormwater regulations became increasingly stringent, Michelle immersed herself in tasks such as developing SWPPP plans, conducting inspections, and providing employee training on stormwater pollution prevention. Her expanding knowledge in SWPPP quickly attracted the attention of developers, contractors, and subcontractors, which sparked an exciting idea. Michelle made the decision to establish her very own stormwater management company.
Armed with certifications as a Registered StormWater Inspector (RSI) and a proficient writer and reviewer of RSW/RSR of stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPPP), Michelle embarked on her entrepreneurial journey. She continues to expand her knowledge in all areas of stormwater pollution, continuously seeking education and staying up to date. With a profound passion cultivated over the years, Michelle approaches her work with unwavering dedication. Her core values revolve around delivering exceptional results, treating others with respect and honesty, and earning the admiration of her collaborators.
