Our Journey

Cearley SWPPP's journey follows our founder, Michelle, who has been in the excavating and construction business since her childhood. She spent time helping her mother in the office as a kid, then obtained a bachelor's degree in administration.

After her mother sadly passed after a courageous battle with breast cancer, Michelle left her job in the hospital industry and went back to help run the family business full-time. She upgraded internal operations and eventually started doing stormwater management through the creation of SWPPP plans.

Cearley SWPPP was born of this effort. Michelle obtained certifications as a Registered Stormwater Inspector (RSI) and a writer and reviewer (RSW) of SWPPP plans. And as our team has grown, so have our certifications and affiliations - we're now a certified woman-owned small business.
